In Naples, the State Police executed a precautionary custody order in prison for mistreatment of family members. On Wednesday, the agents followed the order issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Napoli, Section IV – Protection of the vulnerable.
The order concerns a man born in 1999, accused of mistreatment of family members.
The investigations, conducted by the Investigative Section of the Arenella Police Station, revealed that the suspect, from 2019 to August 2024, committed acts of physical and verbal violence, harassment, damage, aggravated threats and extortion requests towards his cohabiting parents.
During the arrest, the subject reacted violently, attacking the officers, and was subsequently reported for personal injury and resisting a public official.
The suspect was transferred to Poggioreale prison and is at the disposal of the Judicial Authority. It should be noted that this is a precautionary measure in the context of preliminary investigations, and the individual is considered innocent until a final sentence.
