**PLATEALLY Review: books and theatre at Karol Theater**
The Karol Theatre of Castellammare di Stabia is preparing to welcome the second appointment of the PLATEALMENTE review: from the book to the scene. This special event combines the charm of literature with the world of theater, offering the public a unique cultural experience.
Curated by Pierluigi Fiorenza and part of the artistic program of the Casa del Contemporaneo, the exhibition offers spectators the opportunity to immerse themselves in compelling stories and captivating reflections.
“Buonvino and the Bloody Circus”: Veltroni’s New Novel
The focus of the next meeting will be on Walter Veltroni's new novel, "Buonvino e il circo insanguinato", published by Marsilio. The book tells the story of Commissioner Buonvino, who must solve the mystery behind a tragic event that occurred in a circus.
The death of a trapeze artist, although it seems like an accident, hides tensions and secrets among the members of the circus, leading the commissioner to investigate further. Veltroni, with his narration, highlights the themes of resentment and envy, revealing the dark sides of a group that appears united only on the surface.
An event enriched by the voice of Federica Citarella
During the evening, actress Federica Citarella will read selected passages from the novel, allowing the audience to experience the book through a unique and evocative theatrical experience.
In addition, those present will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the novel thanks to the presence of a Mondadori Bookstore point of sale.
Upcoming initiatives and logistical details
The PLATEALMENTE review will continue on October 25 with another event dedicated to literature and history, with Antonio Polito who will present “The Builder. De Gasperi’s five lessons to today’s politicians”.
