In Naples, social media continues to be a stage for baby gangs and young criminals who, with ever greater arrogance, show themselves in threatening attitudes, miming the gesture of the gun.
Article Key Points
All accompanied by music and lyrics that exalt the Camorra culture. Among the protagonists of the latest reports stands out the son of a well-known tiktoker, already involved in episodes of insults and threats directed at the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra deputy, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, inside the Galleria Umberto. New videos reported to him show the persistence of this attitude.
Furthermore, there is no shortage of messages of support addressed to Francesco Pio Valda, alleged responsible for the murder of Francesco Pio Maimone, killed at the Mergellina chalets at the end of a fight that broke out over a trivial stomp, an event in which Maimone had no part.
Valda's friends, the day after the request for life imprisonment made by the PM, wrote on social media: "Don't raise your glasses yet, it's not over yet". A disturbing reality that underlines how deep-rooted and bold this criminal culture is, despite the recent tragedies: three deaths in a single week do not seem to have left any lessons.
“The messages of support and encouragement to the alleged killer of Francesco Pio Maimone are an unheard of shame and represent the true malaise that grips a part of the youth of our city, fascinated by the Camorra culture to the point of not feeling any remorse or the slightest remorse for one of the most tragic murders that occurred in Naples, where a young man who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time lost his life.
Among the boys there is the son of a well-known tiktoker from the Spanish Quarters
Hit by a gunshot fired after a brawl that broke out for trivial reasons, of which he was not involved, with an equally shameful corollary of silence and attempts to make the witnesses of the incident recant. By rallying around the Maimone family we managed to avert the possibility that the guilty party will get away with it.
As for the videos, I remember that the mother of one of the protagonists, a TikToker very committed to promoting widespread illegality, had solemnly promised that after the threats and insults addressed to me and the hymns to the Camorra of her friends, she would severely punish her son.
We had no doubts that this would not happen and above all that the son would persevere in promoting violence and the use of weapons together with his gang. A criminal culture deeply rooted in some families and in some territories that continues to proliferate, spreading fear and death between Naples and the province. Three very young victims of this criminal madness have taught nothing and have not shaken the consciences of those who are used to growing up in contexts where baby gangs and clans dictate their law”.
