Arturo's musical project appears to be influenced by the Albion sound from the very first bars (the influences are multiple and varied but all rigorously made in the UK: from the Stone Roses to Oasis, from the Smiths to the Libertines).
Marco Biondi, radio speaker of Radio Capital and manager of a record label (Sorry Mom!) receives Arturo's demos and decides to include him in the roster of the label itself. On May 3, 2024, the label launches Liqueedo's debut single "Out of nowhere" on all music streaming platforms.
Single that combines the revivalist taste of golden age brit rock (late 80's / 90's) with contemporary indie. Single in which youthful fury and nostalgia come to interpenetrate.
In 5 months the piece totals about 40000 plays, and is in rotation on about a hundred Italian and foreign radios/web radios. It receives positive reviews from both Italian and foreign webzines. This winter the second single of Liqueedo will see the light, which will be titled "1999".
The piece in question, with its discreetly melancholic attitude, takes its cue from the memory of a dear friend who tragically passed away in that very year of the “fin de siècle” in which Arturo was a high school student.
The video clip that will accompany this second single, inspired by the Belgian artist René Magritte, will have a manifestly dreamlike quality and will see as its main theme the continuum between present, past and future.
The excellent poet from Salerno Morgan Donatelli appears in both the video for “Out of Nowhere” and that for “1999”.
In the coming year Arturo/Liqueedo will be busy with a series of dates that will see him share the stage with artists of the calibre of Pierpaolo Capovilla, Cristiano Godano, Frankie hi-nrg etc.

I listened to Arturo's single and I have to say that the music is interesting but a bit similar to other artists. I'm not sure if everyone will like it, but it definitely has its own style. I'm waiting for the second single.
