A tragic event has shaken the community of Orbassano, in the province of Turin, where a couple, aged 64 and 59, decided to take their lives together after grieving the loss of their daughter. The man, a doctor, and the woman, a pharmacist, recently recounted their ordeal to a local newspaper, Eco del Chisone.
In the interview, the couple revealed that their 28-year-old daughter had committed suicide due to childhood trauma related to abuse, which was only discovered when the young woman began to exhibit symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks. A few days after this revelation, the couple were found in the garage of their home, still alive but in very serious conditions. The wife died in the hospital a few days after being admitted, while the husband died on December 23.
This tragedy has deeply affected the local community. The mayor, Cinzia Bosso, shared a thought on social media with a photo of three lit candles, writing 'May all three of you now rest in peace together, your memory will remain with us forever'. The pharmacy where the woman worked also published a photo of the couple with their daughter, indicating: "Now they are all three together. Bye Ale'.

It is very sad that two people like them decided to do this. I do not understand how it is possible to reach such a point of desperation, and I feel so sorry for their daughter. The community must be grieving.
