At the beginning of the new year, a new edition of Raffaele Crisileo's book, "Enrico and Milena. Two Angels in Paradise," will be released in bookstores. The book features a preface by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Patriarch of Jerusalem.
This book, after the one entitled “On the Crime Scene. Arringhe e Ricordi”, published in 2014, “Storia dell'Oratoria Forense” in 2015 and “Vittima Innocente” in 2023, continues an analytical research, from a legal and psychological point of view, in the world of the circumstantial criminal process.
An analysis through the characters and dramas experienced in the various trials that Crisileo dealt with.
A first part describes the post factum of the murder of the young Enrico di Monaco, the judicial implications of that trial, starting from the second degree judgment that overturned the first verdict, then the interviews with Enrico's mother; followed by the author's reflections on what else he perceived both as a lawyer and as a citizen on a horrifying murder that twenty years ago shocked the city of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
The second part of this book describes another murder, the one that occurred in 1971 and that has remained particularly impressed in the memory of all of us. The murder of a very young girl, Milena Sutter from Genoa, who was only thirteen years old.
