Solofra. He discharged the waste water from the tannery directly into the sewer without the pre-filtering and de-oiling tank. A 40-year-old entrepreneur from solofra, in the province of AVELLINO, was reported by the Forestry Carabinieri as part of the checks to combat pollution phenomena on the Sabato river.
During the inspection it also emerged that the preparation and tanning of the hides was carried out without any authorization. The tannery, worth approximately one million euros, was placed under seizure.
