Former minister and former mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, was arrested on New Year's Eve and taken to Rebibbia prison. He is accused of violating the obligations imposed by the surveillance magistrates.
The arrest and subsequent revocation of probation to social services were urgently ordered by the surveillance court of Rome. Yesterday evening, around 20:XNUMX PM, Alemanno was taken to prison.
Gianni Alemanno's defense lawyer, Edoardo Albertario, confirmed the arrest but did not want to make any statements.
