A lunch with the detained mothers "to be able to breathe a different air". Tomorrow the Befana will arrive early at the institute of attenuated custody for detained mothers in Lauro, in the province of Avellino, thanks to an initiative of the guarantor of the detainees, Samuele Ciambriello.
Donut Francesca Pascale, the civil rights activist and president of the association I colori della libertà, and some volunteers working in the sector will be present. Lunch will be prepared together with the inmates and will represent a moment of conviviality also with all the staff.
"It is important to create moments to be able to breathe a different air. Tomorrow the Befana will arrive early for the children present in the Icam of Lauro, which currently houses 5 detained mothers and their 5 children, we will bring socks and games - says the Guarantor - In all of Italy there are 20 detained mothers with 21 children in tow between the prison nursery sections and the Icam. Numbers destined to grow with the new article 15 of the security bill which, if not modified, makes the postponement of the execution of the sentence discretionary for pregnant mothers and with children under one year old".
