Algerian trafficker and robber wanted in Germany arrested in Ponticelli

A 30-year-old Algerian was arrested by the State Police in Ponticelli following the issuing of two European arrest warrants by the German authorities.

The warrants involve drug-related crimes and robbery. The operation was conducted on Monday afternoon, when Railway Police officers managed to locate the man's home after an intense investigative effort.

Already in December, the 30-year-old had been stopped inside the Naples Central station, but had managed to escape capture by resisting and disappearing.

The careful investigative work allowed the agents to locate the wanted man's home, ultimately leading to his capture and the execution of arrest warrants.
