During the investigation, 11 defendants they already had negotiated, While the Supreme Court will have to examine their positions. Only one defendant is still on trial in Nocera Inferiore, while a minor, arrested five months after the events, awaits the decision of the Juvenile Court, with the possibility of an alternative penalty.
The crimes contested concern devastation, possession and throwing of dangerous objects and resisting a public official. The investigations, supported by testimonies and surveillance videos, have allowed us to identify 21 fans involved. The case represents yet another episode of football-related violence, which continues to call for greater commitment to combating crime in and around stadiums.

The sentence reducing the sentences for the ultras is a worrying fact, because it shows that violence in football is not always punished adequately. We need to think about how to deal with these behaviors.
