A 39-year-old man was arrested by the State Police in Secondigliano for illicit possession of narcotic substances: the arrest took place yesterday evening, during an operation conducted by the agents of the Police Station of Secondigliano.
While passing through via Montenero, the officers noticed a man behaving suspiciously while he was recovering a purse hidden under a parked car. The immediate intervention of the officers led to the discovery of illicit substances.
In the purse, which turned out to be the man's property, 27 packages of hashish and 69 of marijuana were found. The total amount of drugs seized amounted to 261 grams. In addition, the man had with him 550 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations, considered the proceeds of the illicit activity.
The man, originally from Naples and with a criminal record, was arrested by law enforcement for possession of narcotics. The officers continue to monitor the area to combat similar illicit activities.
