Yesterday evening, State Police officers carried out an arrest operation in Corso Umberto. A young man of 20 years of Moroccan origin and already known to the police for previous police records, was arrested on charges of robbery.

During the usual territorial control service, the officers of the Vicaria Mercato Police Station were promptly approached by two citizens. The latter pointed out an individual who was quickly moving away, explaining that shortly before they had been attacked by the young man, who had managed to steal a cell phone from one of the two victims.

Thanks to the timely report, the police, supported by a patrol of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, were able to identify and stop the fugitive. The young man was immediately arrested for the crime of robbery.
