Naples – Last night operators and technicians from Asia Napoli, with the agents of the Municipal Police, the Environmental Police and with employees of the Ambiente Solidale cooperative intervened inside the Lazio Gallery on the recommendation of ABC.
The company in charge of water management has in fact requested support to empty several rooms in the tunnel where hundreds of bags, clothes and materials of various types were found. Piles of waste even over 3 meters tall for a total weight of approximately 60 tons.

"Abc is engaged in a significant monitoring activity - explains the general manager Sergio De Marco -. In a few weeks we will begin complex and important sewer works on the large collector of Via Posillipo and the connected collector Donn'Anna, a section completely blocked between the entrance in Via Posillipo and the intersection with the Lazio Gallery.

During the night-time intervention, which lasted 6 hours, bobcats and Asia vehicles went into action, with operators and technicians from the Heap Removal Team coordinated by the Director of General Services of Asia, Carlo Lupoli.
“The accumulation was blocking inspection access to the sewer system right at a crucial point where the main collectors converge,” Lupoli explains. “The Asia Heap Removal Team once again demonstrated professionalism and dedication, overcoming a far from simple challenge and taking away over 60 tons of waste. A job that can only be done with a great team that believes in its mission to serve the city.”
