The 72-year-old Roman man who yesterday afternoon, while driving his powerful Mercedes at high speed, hit and killed 19-year-old Daniela Gambardella is being investigated for road homicide.

The pain of the family
In the afternoon, the young woman's parents arrived in Rome to identify the body, which was transferred to the Policlinico di Tor Vergata, where the autopsy will be performed in the next few days.
Daniela had moved to the capital in September to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Determined and brilliant, she had completed the exam session with excellent results. Between study and work, she was building a future, tragically shattered in a few moments on a busy street in Rome.

It's really sad what happened to this girl. I don't understand how someone that age could drive so recklessly, especially with a powerful car like that. I hope there are consequences for those who don't respect the lives of others.
