Torre Annunziata: 21-Year-Old Arrested for Resisting Public Official After Chase
Torre Annunziata – Yesterday evening, a 21-year-old with a criminal record was arrested by the State Police in Torre Annunziata for resisting a public official.
The episode occurred during a routine territorial control service by the Torre Annunziata Police Station. While passing through Piazza Imbriani, the officers noticed a car with three people on board.
At the sight of the police, the driver accelerated to avoid the check, ignoring the officers' order to stop.
A long chase ensued, during which the 21-year-old driver made dangerous maneuvers, risking compromising road safety. The chase reached its climax near Penniniello Park, where one of the passengers got out of the car and attempted to flee on foot.
