Thus the mayor of Vico Equense, Giuseppe Aiello, after the Guardia di Finanza soldiers of the Naval station of Naples and the company of Castellammare di Stabia executed a search and seizure order issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office within the Municipal Police Command of Vico Equense.
Absenteeism and improper use of company cars are the accusations that have produced 22 notices of investigation for as many members of the municipal police command of Vico Equense.
"We will await the outcome of the investigations - continues the mayor - aware of the importance of avoiding hasty judgments and media pillories. I reiterate my total trust in the institutions responsible for shedding light on every aspect of this affair. To the men and women who work for our municipality and who have always demonstrated professionalism and seriousness, I ask to continue to carry out their work with determination and serenity".
It is important that the judiciary sheds light on this situation. People cannot be judged without certain evidence. I hope that everything will be resolved in the best way for the community and for the citizens.
