Carpet lace for businesses and traders
Wholesalers of sportswear and fish products, restaurants, funeral homes and betting shops, haulage companies and gaming halls: they imposed widespread extortion, the Gallo-Cavalieri and Gionta clans and the Camorra organization called “IV Sistema” of Torre Annunziata, according to what emerged from the investigations of the Carabinieri who notified eleven arrests in prison.
The highest extortion money was imposed by the Camorra on funeral homes: the requests varied between 4000 and 4500 euros, depending on the funerals organized, and minors were also used to impose them, as demonstrated by an episode documented by the military between 2016 and 2017 in which a wholesale fish products trader was the victim.
