Letters – The Carabinieri of the Lettere Station have executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of home confinement against a 17-year-old local boy, considered to be seriously suspected of extortion, assault and stalking.
The order, issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Juvenile Court of Naples, comes at the end of an investigation conducted by the military and coordinated by the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
The charges against the young man concern a series of incidents that occurred between January and September 2024 against an acquaintance. According to the reconstruction by investigators, the minor allegedly forced the victim to perform unpaid work under threat and with the use of violence.
The situation apparently degenerated on September 11, when, when the victim refused, the suspect allegedly showed up at her home, verbally threatening her before attacking her with kicks, punches and throwing a glass bottle at her, causing her injuries.
He had also pointed a gun at him, which later turned out to be fake.
From the investigations of thepolice a picture of repeated intimidation also emerged: threatening phone calls even at night, disturbing messages and even the alleged link with criminal circles in Castellammare di Stabia.
In a particularly serious episode, the 17-year-old allegedly aimed a gun – later revealed to be fake – on the victim's face, generating a lasting state of fear in the latter, so much so as to induce her to change her lifestyle habits to avoid encounters with the aggressor.
In light of the evidence gathered and the dangerousness of the conduct, the investigating judge ordered the precautionary measure of home confinement for the young man, pending further judicial developments.
