A special event awaits lovers of Neapolitan music on Saturday, March 29. EPO, the Neapolitan band, will propose the reissue of “Silenzio Assenso Reload”, an album originally released in 2007, in vinyl and CD format. The evening will see the group perform at the Auditorium Novecento at 22 pm, marking their return after a long break.
The History of EPOs
EPO was born in 2000 from the collaboration between Ciro Tuzzi, guitarist and author, and Mario Conte, producer and keyboardist. Their first work, “Il mattino ha l'oro in bocca”, published in 2002, gained attention thanks to the participation in the Premio Ciampi and the third place in the “Fuori dal Mucchio” award. 2007 marked the release of “Silenzio Assenso”, positively received for its refined pop-rock. The video for “Sporco” was successful on music channels and the band collaborated with MTV in the program Brand:New.
Evolution and Collaborations
In 2012, “Ogni Cosa è Al Suo Posto” arrived with the participation of Marina Rei and Giovanni Truppi. The band subsequently crowdfunded two albums, releasing “Serpenti” in 2016 and “Enea” in 2019 with SoundFly. This project saw the fusion between the Neapolitan musical tradition and an international sound, involving artists such as Roy Paci and Rodrigo D'Erasmo. EPO’s return with the reissue of “Silenzio Assenso” will be followed by a tour, the schedule of which will be announced soon, with tickets already available on ETES. Saturday’s concert represents not only a return for the band, but also an opportunity for the audience to relive past successes and new emotions.

The article talks about an important event for Neapolitan music lovers, but I think the information could have been presented more clearly. The story of EPO and their collaborations is interesting, but some details about the location are missing.
