Torre Annunziata – A solidarity race has started for Luigi Guadagno, the 18-year-old from Torre Annunziata in a coma since August 22nd following a dramatic road accident. Since that day, Luigi has been fighting between life and hope in a neurorehabilitation facility, but his conditions still show no signs of improvement.
The boy's brother-in-law launched the appeal, having activated a fundraiser on the GoFundMe platform with the aim of raising 100 thousand euros: a sum necessary to transfer Luigi to a specialized private clinic in Austria, where he could receive advanced and personalized care.
"In the structure where it is currently located - explains the promoter of the collection - we have not yet seen significant progress. We need to take it elsewhere, where it can have a concrete possibility of recovery."
The young man suffered multiple injuries and a serious head injury in the accident. His family does not give up and has decided to try every possible way to offer him a new chance at life. The collection campaign has already exceeded 500 donations, collecting over 17 thousand euros in just a few days.
A strong signal from a community that gathers around Luigi and his family, with the hope of seeing him smile again one day.

It is a very difficult situation for Luigi's family, I hope they can raise the money needed to bring him to Austria. It is important that there is more solidarity in the community, even if there are many difficulties.
