CASTEL VOLTURNO – He thought he could get away with it, but he ended up with a pair of handcuffs on his wrists. A 37-year-old, domiciled in Varcaturo and already subjected to the measure of special surveillance with a ban on staying in the municipality of Castel Volturno, was arrested by the Carabinieri of the local Tenenza.
The military surprised him in Via Paganini, driving a Fiat Panda, in full violation of the preventive measure. At the time of the check, the man attempted a dramatic coup: without identification documents, he provided false personal details, in the hope of evading identification. But the bluff did not last long.
The investigations carried out by the Carabinieri quickly unmasked his true identity, leading to his immediate arrest. The 37-year-old was taken to the holding cells, where he will await the celebration of the direct trial. Another escape gone wrong, another face known to justice who returns to answer for his actions.
