A project that combines dance and cultural heritage
Now in its second edition under the artistic direction of Claudio Malangone, *Mare Nostrum* is an initiative funded by the Directorate General for Entertainment of the Ministry of Culture. The project is part of the national call for proposals for the promotion of live entertainment activities in cultural venues. It is also supported by the Municipality of Pontecagnano Faiano, the Municipality of Padula and the Comunità Montana Vallo di Diano.
A bridge between the cultures of the Mediterranean
Mare Nostrum presents itself as a platform for cultural exchange, where dance becomes a universal language and a tool for connection. The body in movement is at the center of a dialogue between different identities, inspired by the waters of the Mediterranean that, for millennia, have united civilizations and stories.
Two performances on stage at ManES
The evening will open with an aperitif offered by Borderline Danza, which will introduce the audience to the two performances scheduled. The first to perform will be the Fattoria Vittadini company with Lingua, a choreography by Chiara Ameglio, with the artistic collaboration of Santi Crispo and music by Keeping Faka. The show reflects on gesture as a sign of relationship and gift, transforming the stage into a meeting space.
“In Equilibrio”: the search for harmony by the Estemporada company
Following this, the Sardinian company Estemporada will stage *In Equilibrio*, a choreographic creation by Livia Lepri. The performance explores the tension between opposites and the continuous search for inner stability, transforming the body into a symbol of resistance and acceptance.
A journey through art, dance and memory
The artistic journey of Mare Nostrum will continue in the coming months with stops at the National Archaeological Museum of Pontecagnano “Etruschi di frontiera”, at the Archaeological Park of Pontecagnano and at the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula. It will involve companies from Italy, Croatia, Albania, Tunisia and Spain, in a tribute to the cultural richness of the Mediterranean.
Free admission and extraordinary opening of the museum
For the occasion, the National Archaeological Museum of Eboli will extend its opening hours until 22.00:21.30 p.m., with last admission scheduled for 19.00:XNUMX p.m. Starting at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., admission will be free for all visitors. Tasting and participation in the shows will also be free, without the need for reservations.
