Milan – Coca-Cola, Presenting Partner of the Olympic Torch Relay for the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Cortina 2026, is offering all Italians the opportunity to apply to be torchbearers.
An initiative that aims to celebrate the Olympic values of unity, optimism and hope, directly involving local communities.
The Olympic Flame will travel across the country from December 6, 2025 to February 6, 2026, touching 110 provinces in a symbolic journey that will unite North and South. Coca-Cola, present in Italy for almost a century with six production plants (including the one in Marcianise, Campania), sees this event not only as support for a major sporting event, but also as an opportunity to strengthen its ties with the territory.
From April 22, 2025, all Italian citizens aged 14 and over (born before December 5, 2011) can submit their candidacy through the Coca-Cola App, available on Google Play and Apple Store. The selection, open until June 25 at 17:00 p.m., will favor personal stories that embody the values of sport, solidarity and social commitment, respecting equality and inclusion.
The torch bearers will be the protagonists of a collective journey that will culminate with the lighting of the Olympic cauldron, marking the beginning of the Games. A SWG survey promoted by Coca-Cola reveals that for many Italians this is an opportunity for active participation: 21% of those interviewed said they were ready to run, considering it a moment of pride and achievement.
