The Prefect of Naples has ordered increased police presence on Via Aniello Falcone to address the disruption caused by Thursday nightlife, with a coordinated response plan in preparation for the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety.

Naples has intensified nightlife controls on Via Aniello Falcone on Thursdays. Measures are planned to ensure safety and traffic flow.
Following reports from residents of Via Aniello Falcone regarding the disruption caused by Thursday nightlife , the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, has ordered an immediate increase in police patrols in the affected area.
The situation will also be the focus of the next Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, scheduled for June 15th at the Government Palace. During the meeting, coordinated interventions will be planned to improve traffic flow on the hillside, often compromised by the crowds of young people attending musical and promotional events organized by local venues.
The main issues concern public safety and emergency vehicle access, which is hampered by illegally parked vehicles. For this reason, the use of a tow truck to clear the roadways will also be evaluated.
In recent days, the Naples Police Headquarters had already started targeted checks on clubs and set up specific nightlife services , active starting this evening, to prevent public order problems and ensure the safety of citizens.
