Juve Stabia has made a key addition to their attacking line, completing a deal that combines technical quality and sentimental value. The Vesuvian club has officially signed Giuseppe Sibilli from SS Bari on a permanent deal. The Neapolitan striker has committed his future to the Gialloblù, signing a long-term deal through June 30, 2029.
In the footsteps of dad Sasà
A signing that feels like a nostalgic homecoming. Giuseppe is indeed the son of a footballing legend: his father, Salvatore "Sasà" Sibilli, was an undisputed favorite among the Castellammare di Stabia fans between 2003 and 2006, a key figure in the club's resurgence from the dark years of Serie D, a season in which he scored 17 goals. Having grown up in Napoli's youth system, the 96-born player is now returning to the green lawn that is so dear to his family's storied past.
A wealth of experience between Serie C and Serie B
Sibilli's professional career began in Sicily, with Siracusa and Sicula Leonzio, before finding continuity with AlbinoLeffe (67 appearances and 10 goals in two and a half seasons). The definitive leap in quality came in the summer of 2020 with a move to Pisa, where in three seasons with the second division, he racked up 94 appearances, 13 goals, and 6 assists. After his stint at Bari (64 appearances, 13 goals, and 9 assists) and a recent six-month loan spell at Sampdoria in the second half of the 2024/25 season (15 appearances and 3 goals), the versatile striker is ready to shoulder the Juve Stabia attack.
