Naples – Summer doesn't seem to be giving way to autumn just yet. Today, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Naples and much of Campania will again experience generally favorable weather conditions, albeit with some cloudy periods throughout the day.

According to the latest available updates, partly cloudy or hazy skies are expected in the Campania capital, with temperatures ranging between 22 and 31 degrees.

Stable and sunny morning

The day begins with good weather. Clear skies will prevail in Naples, with generally sparse clouds and pleasant temperatures in the early hours. Conditions will remain favorable throughout the morning, when temperatures will begin to rise.

Hourly forecasts indicate temperatures around 27-28 degrees at midday, with peaks in the central hours and early afternoon.

Afternoon, a few more clouds

Increased variability is expected in the afternoon, but no significant deterioration is expected in the city of Naples. Scattered clouds may appear, especially during the hottest hours, while temperatures will remain close to 30 degrees.

The regional picture will be slightly more varied: Avellino and Benevento could see more cloud cover, while in Naples, Caserta, and Salerno the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny.

Some afternoon instability is expected, especially in the southernmost areas of the region, with particular reference to Cilento, where isolated showers cannot be ruled out.

Still summery temperatures

In Naples, the expected maximum temperature is between 29 and 31 degrees, depending on the different meteorological calculations, while the minimum will remain around 20-22 degrees.

Salerno will also reach temperatures close to 28 degrees, while Caserta could reach around 29. Temperatures in Avellino will be more moderate, with a maximum expected of around 27 degrees.

Light winds and generally calm seas

No particular problems are expected regarding the winds: the currents will generally remain weak, while the seas of Campania will be generally calm or slightly rough.

The picture, therefore, remains that of a late summer, with temperatures still higher than those typical of the second half of September and favorable conditions especially along the coasts.

The trend for the next few days

Change, however, could be imminent. Forecasts indicate a slight drop in temperatures starting Wednesday, September 16th, accompanied by increased cloud cover over Campania.

For today, however, Naples can still count on a mostly stable and bright day, with the thermometer nearing 30 degrees and a decidedly summery atmosphere.
