Among his various assignments, he has led the Milan Porta Monforte Operations Unit and the Carabinieri Companies of Sorrento, Naples Rione Traiano, and Bagnoli. Since 2014, he has worked at the "Ogaden" Interregional Carabinieri Command in Naples, where he performed operational and coordination functions. Since 2016, he has held several senior positions at the Carabinieri General Command, including section head in various offices.

The new commander stated that his goal will be to strengthen collaboration with local institutions and organizations to effectively prevent and combat all forms of crime, ensuring a constant presence in the area. The priority will be to maintain a direct and reliable relationship with citizens, so that the Carabinieri continue to be a concrete point of reference, responsive to the community's needs.

Former Commander Colonel Manuel Scarso has assumed the role of Head of the Press Office at the Carabinieri General Command in Rome. This marks the officer's return to the capital to hold a prestigious senior position in the force's institutional communications, marking the conclusion of his four-year term leading the Caserta provincial command.
