School maintenance, work also begins at the Formisano complex. Zinno: "Scheduled interventions, we keep our commitment to the city"
School maintenance. The interventions ordered by the administration led by Mayor Giorgio Zinno continue without stopping according to a schedule established in agreement with the Councilor for Public Works, Eva Lambiase. After the roofing work in the Don Milani complex, including maintenance of the toilets and waterproofing of the flat roof of the Rodari complex, which is part of the IC Massimo Troisi, with and the renovation of part of the bathrooms on the ground floor, this morning the work began at the Formisano complex (IC Don Milani-Dorso). In particular, these are "conservative renovation" interventions of the underground rooms, which will be restored to ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the area below the structure and the electrical system will also be redone.
The Mayor clarifies that these are remediation interventions, therefore no intervention is made on the statics of the structure, as there are not and never have been any dangers in this sense. The works are financed with funds from the Miur – “Childhood 0-6 years”.
"We are working with a single goal - explains Zinno - which is to offer, at the resumption of the school year, increasingly safe and well-maintained school facilities for our students, teachers and all school staff. We had already planned these interventions and we are completing them, keeping the commitment with the school audience and with the families of our students".
“The intervention at the Formisano complex will allow us to have the underground rooms clean and hygienically risk-free – concludes Eva Lambiase. In addition, in the next few days, we will also begin work at the Noschese complex (IC IV Stanziale). All activities that will make our schools safer and cleaner, maintaining our excellence”.
