Unesco itinerary “Creator Vesevo on the road among the Unesco gems from Naples to Pompeii”: the aim is to enhance the cultural and touristic value of the main routes of the Unesco historical centre of Naples and the archaeological areas of Ercolano, Pompeii and Torre Annunziata.
The project, thanks to a memorandum of understanding between Campania region, Municipality of Napoli in the Municipalities of Ercolano, Pompeii and Torre Annunziata, is implemented with an allocation of 4 million euros from Poc funds by the Campania Region, which is entrusted with a role of coordinating the activities of the Itinerary, also implemented through the Scabec company. Specifically, the project is structured as follows: the Municipality of Naples is the recipient of the total amount of 3.350.000 euros for the implementation of the Creator Vesevo project.
Walking among the gems Unesco from Naples to Pompeii, of which €1.475.000 for the promotion, communication and enhancement of cultural assets related to the overall project proposal and €1.675.000 for the restoration, conservation, extraordinary maintenance, installation of technical equipment and acquisition of equipment/apparatus for the enhancement and use of real estate assets of historical-artistic and architectural value Castel Nuovo, San Domenico Maggiore, SS Annunziata, PAN and Museo di Totò.
The Municipality of Ercolano is the recipient of the total amount of Euro 249.840 for the realization of the Cultural Project with restoration and conservative redevelopment intervention, installation of technical equipment and acquisition of equipment for the enhancement and use of the historic Garden of the Villa Comunale on the Golden Mile with the creation of the Belvedere on Villa dei Papiri.
The Municipality of Pompei, instead, is the recipient of the total amount of Euro 250.000 for the implementation of redevelopment interventions of Palazzo De Fusco and the gardens of the ancient Pompeian Baths - The recovery of the historical memory of the city.
Finally, the Municipality of Torre Annunziata is the recipient of the total amount of 150.000 euros for the project Torre Annunziata between memory and identity.
