FormArt creates the short film “I colori della pelle” written and directed by Salvatore Formisano: The aim of this project is to combat discrimination, developing equality, inclusion, equal opportunities, for the good of the whole community.
In such a difficult moment, like the one we are experiencing, in which the entertainment industry is one of the most affected sectors, the Artistic Cultural Association FormArt (directed by director and screenwriter Salvatore Formisano) creates the short film “I colori della pelle”. This demonstrates that art cannot and must not stop.
Written and directed by Salvatore Formisano, the short film saw the light thanks to a project proposed by the Association “Pianeta Donna” directed by Arca Carmen Romano.
Winner of the public tender (promoted by the Department of Events Policies of the Municipality of Torre del Greco) for "the promotion of positive actions aimed at combating discrimination and affirming the principle of equal opportunities", the film work was created thanks to the collaboration of the two Torre del Greco associations, which together developed the idea of the short film focused on the inclusion of diversity, which unites, through the dispute of a simple football match, real actors with the kids of the area, those of the South Tower and those of the North Tower. Two different social realities (popular and degraded environments - elitist and respectable environments) that clash (football match), in a game that becomes a tool for aggregation, in which the participation of a female referee adds further value to the theme of diversity, or that of equality between men and women. So, what better way to address these issues through sport, especially the most popular one, like football.
“The purpose of this project – says Salvatore Formisano – is to combat discrimination, developing equality, inclusion, equal opportunities, for the good of the entire community”.
Set in a small football pitch, made available by the school “ASD Napoli Campania TDG”, the film briefly sees two teams on the field, which from the outside are completely different from each other. On one side we find the “popular” team, the one represented by the boys from Torre Sud, with coach Dino (Dino Porzio), while on the other, the “high area” team composed of the boys from Torre Nord, with coach Giovanni (Giovanni Caso). The playing method recommended by the two coaches to their athletes does not travel on the same thread.

Dino, the coach of the Torre Sud team, incites violence if necessary, while Giovanni, the coach of the Torre Nord team, invites the boys not to tire themselves out, because the victory is already in their hands. And while the two coaches exchange looks of contempt for the entire duration of the sports competition, on the field the boys commit to playing the match directed by the referee (Daniela Tamburro).
