The Population Vaccination Point set up in the gymnasium of the school complex will be inaugurated today, Monday 10 May, in Cetara.
a remarkable achievement that was possible thanks to the incessant work and persevering action of the municipal administration, with the bodies responsible for issuing the authorizations.
“It is right to thank the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, the General Director of the ASL, Mario Iervolino, the Mayor of Cava de' Tirreni, Vincenzo Servalli, for making the administrative staff available, with the Director of the schools of Vietri sul Mare, Milena Satriano for the concession of the space” – explains Roberto Della Monica, Mayor of Cetara. With the new vaccination point, it will be possible to cover the entire population of Cetara in about a month and, above all, speed up the vaccination not only of the over 50s registered on the regional platform, but also of the staff who work in the tourism sector and of the operators employed in other sectors who work in close contact with the public.
“In this way, the economic activities of our country will be able to restart in complete safety in this moment of particular hardship, in view of the now imminent summer season” – continues the mayor. In the coming days, it will be a priority to provide citizens with more precise information and a calendar of the days of vaccination administration. Updates will be published on the institutional website of the Municipality and on the Facebook page of both the Authority and the Nucleo di Civil Protection of Cetara.
