Covid in Campania: cases on the rise compared to the previous week. Beds in the medical area above the saturation threshold
Campania recorded, in the week from 5 to 11 January, an increase in new cases of positivity from Covid-19 (51,4%) compared to the previous week and a worsening performance for currently positive cases per 100 thousand inhabitants (3.260).
The list of new cases per 100 inhabitants in the last week is divided by province as follows: Naples 2.584; Salerno 2.047; Caserta 2.031; Benevento 1.625; Avellino 1.252.
The data emerge from the weekly report of the Gimbe Foundation that analyzes the progress of the epidemic. Above the saturation threshold are the beds in the medical area (24,8%) and in intensive care (12,2%) occupied by Covid-19 patients.
