The eighth stage will take place between the capital and the territory of the municipalities of Pozzuoli, Quarto, Giugliano, Bacoli and Monte di Procida to pay homage to Procida Italian Capital of Culture 2022, crossing the Lungomare of Naples, Castel dell'Ovo, Posillipo, Vesuvius, Puteoli, the ancient Baiae, Lago Patria and Liternum, the Fescina, the views of Monte di Procida, the Land of Myth.
The pink caravan will move at 13pm from Piazza del Plebiscito. The start will be at Rotonda Diaz around 13:35. The group will then climb the Posillipo hill and Coroglio and, from Agnano, will continue in the municipality of Pozzuoli towards Solfatara. From there, following the via consiliare Campana, the athletes will reach Quarto, where they will enter the state road and then exit at Lago Patria, skirting the area of Liternum, in the territory of the municipality of Giugliano, to reach the old via Domitiana.
Continuing towards Pozzuoli, the athletes will enter the Phlegraean Peninsula where, starting from Lake Lucrino, they will complete a challenging circuit of about 19 kilometers, crossing the municipalities of Pozzuoli, Bacoli and Monte di Procida, to be covered four times.
Two intermediate goals, one at kilometer 37,4, near the Lake Patria-Liternum, and another at kilometer 115,7, at bacoli, to which is added a fourth category mountain grand prix at kilometre 118,7, in Monte di Procida.
At the end of the four laps you return to Naples, on seafront of via Caracciolo, where to win the victory, around the 17:30, a small group will probably show up for the final sprint.

Pozzuoli-Bacoli and Ring Road
