There are 31.885 new Covid cases in Italy registered in the last 24 hours, compared to 39.474 yesterday but above all the 22.361 of last Wednesday.
The swabs processed are 195.439 (yesterday 228.559) with the positivity rate that jumps from 17,3% to 16,43. The deaths are 48 (yesterday 73). The total victims since the beginning of the pandemic thus rise to 167.553. In hospitalizations on the rise: there are 6 more intensive care units (yesterday -10) with 33 daily admissions, and there are 189 in total.
The same goes for the ordinary wards where there are 19 more patients (yesterday -11), for a total of 4.218. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
The region with the highest number of cases today is the Lombardia with 4.672 infections, followed by Lazio (+ 3.530), Veneto (+ 3.286), Campania (+2.876), Sicily (+2.734) and Emilia Romagna (+2.674). Total cases since the beginning of the pandemic reach 17.736.696.
I discharged / healed of the last 24 hours are 32.758 (yesterday 52.817) for a total that rises to 16.965.258. The currently positive are 3 more (yesterday -13.046) for a total that rises to 603.885. Of these, 599.478 are in home isolation.
