The summer of 'On Waves' continues at the port of Cetara for the last two events of July.
Welcomed with enthusiasm by the public and visitors, the On Waves seaside arena, at the port of Cetara, is the new stage for major summer events, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, able to accommodate up to 592 spectators along its 720 square meters of length.
Completely immersed in the atmosphere of the village, the last two events of July will take place: Friday 29th, from 21 pm, the theatre-song show Penna, chitarra e cilindri, dedicated to Giorgio Gaber, Rino Gaetano, Fabrizio De André, curated by Giacomo Casaula (vocals), Davide Trezza (guitar), Andrea Barone (keyboards), Luca Masi (bass), Vincenzo Gigantino (drums) and Stefano Torino (guitar).
De André's pen, Gaber's guitar, Gaetano's top hat: three very different yet similar formulas that tell our relationships, our way of feeling and being, life. A unique magic that is only possible through music. An extraordinary collage of songs and brush strokes from the past, yet still very current. Free admission, until seats are taken. To follow, on Saturday 30 July, at 22 pm, the long-awaited concert by Cristina Donà, in her deSidera Tour 2022. Considered one of the most original voices on the Italian music scene, Cristina has helped define the new season of Mediterranean-based rock, becoming one of the few Italian artists capable of "rivaling" her great colleagues who have reinvented the model of performer and author abroad.
Always capable of renewing herself, Donà has become first a point of reference, then an inspiring figure for the new generations of Italian musicians. The show is curated by Frangenti – Cetara Arts Festival, the theater and music festival directed by Vincenzo Albano. Entrance fee 15 euros. Tickets can be purchased from the authorized portals Go2.it and Ticketone.it in advance.
