Sorrento. The Police Chief of Naples, on the proposal of the Carabinieri Company of Sorrento,
has ordered the suspension for 15 days of dance entertainment and various art shows as well as the provision of food and drink to the public at a venue in via Santa Maria della Pietà in Sorrento.
In particular, on the night of May 1st, the soldiers of the Sorrento Company intervened outside the restaurant due to a fight between six customers, two of whom had suffered stab wounds.
In fact, it was ascertained, thanks to the viewing of the images from the video surveillance system, that the episodes had originated inside the premises and then flowed outside, following an altercation for trivial reasons between two groups of customers.
On that occasion the military arrested four of the participants for aggravated brawling, while two others were reported for the same crime.
The measure is therefore aimed at avoiding a concrete danger to public order and the safety of citizens.
