ACampania Weather Alert: Yellow alert for rain extended until tomorrow. Critical conditions until 21pm on Wednesday.
A weather alert for rain and thunderstorms with a Yellow hydrogeological criticality level is currently in effect in Campania. The warning is valid until 21 pm today. But the disturbance will still persist in the region, therefore the civil protection of the Campania region has issued a new weather criticality warning, again for rain and thunderstorms and still Yellow, also for tomorrow.
It will be valid from 12pm to 21pm. Wednesday August 10, throughout the region. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are still expected, even intense ones with consequent hydrogeological risk. The thunderstorms will always be characterized by rapid evolution and forecast uncertainty: they could be sudden and also give rise to lightning and hail with consequent falling of branches or trees.
Flooding, rise in hydrometric levels of watercourses, rock falls and occasional landslides linked to particularly fragile conditions of the area are possible.
