Varcaturo: In a house, waste of all kinds and abandoned dogs, 3 animals that unfortunately did not make it. Carabinieri report 50-year-old
The Carabinieri of the Varcaturo station - following a report from some citizens - intervened in a house where they found a real landfill. Waste of all kinds but also 30 dogs including 8 puppies left completely abandoned and without water or food.
The house had been vacated a few days earlier by the 50-year-old tenant who had been hit by an eviction.
The animals were rescued and entrusted to the ASL veterinary service but unfortunately 3 of them had already died from malnutrition.
The woman was reported for animal cruelty and illegal waste management and was reported to the local social services. The building was seized.
