Vices are paid for, and sometimes at a high price. In Pozzuoli, last evening, the Carabinieri of the local station arrested Antonio Lubrano, a 24-year-old local man already known to the police. The man is considered seriously suspected of the crime of theft with snatching to the detriment of a woman.
The investigations of the Carabinieri, carried out thanks to the analysis of the images of the video surveillance systems of the area and thanks to the description of the man provided by those present at the time of the incident, allowed them to ascertain that the 24-year-old - a few hours earlier and in via Luciano - had approached a car in which a 36-year-old woman was aboard. He quickly opened the front passenger door, taking the woman's bag and then fled.
During the investigation, the military documented that the man also attempted to buy rolling tobacco in a tobacconist near the place of the theft with the credit card kept inside the bag just stolen. The card, however, had already been blocked by the victim and the purchase "failed".
Too bad for the 24-year-old that among the images of the video surveillance system present in the place there was also his close-up on display. For the Carabinieri it was easy to follow the tracking of the stolen credit card and then, once they intervened in the commercial establishment, acquire the videos of the commercial establishment.
The 24-year-old's home was searched, Carabinieri They found and seized the victim's credit cards, which were returned to their rightful owner. The arrested man was transferred to Poggioreale prison awaiting trial.
