In Salerno, a body in the sea: hypothesis of illness. There are no signs of violence on the body. Autopsy ordered
The body of a 35-year-old man from Salerno was found in the body of water in front of the Salerno seafront, near Piazza della Concordia.
The alarm was raised by some passers-by who, in the late morning, noticed the body floating on the surface of the water. The body of the young man was recovered by the firefighters, with the help of the Port Authority.
The rescuers could do nothing but confirm the death of the 35-year-old. Clothes and shoes were found on the wall. The State Police agents are working to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy.
It is likely that it was a sudden illness but other hypotheses are not excluded. No signs of violence were found on the body but the magistrate on duty has ordered an autopsy to clarify the causes of death.
