Yesterday afternoon, the agents of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, intervened in alley II of the Liguori to report a family dispute.
The police officers, who arrived on the scene, were approached by a woman who said that, shortly before, her partner had threatened to kill her for trivial reasons and then walked away.
Shortly after, the man returned and, at the sight of the operators, began to rage, attacking them and attempting to stab them with a knife, before being stopped.
A 46-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record was arrested for assault and resisting a public official and reported for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence and mistreatment in the family.
