A Mondragone sheep and goat farm discovered that was powering its network through theft of electricity, but also accused of illegal building and violation of the European directive on the identification and registration of pigs.
The Carabinieri of the Mondragone Territorial Department discovered it, together with those of the Carinola Station and technical personnel from the electricity supply company "ENEL" and the ASL, Veterinary Service - Animal Health of Caserta, during targeted checks aimed at preventing and repressing the commission of crimes against property and the identification of illegal breeding.
In fact, three people have been reported at large, deemed responsible for theft of electricity, illegal building and violation of the European directive on the identification and registration of pigs.
The soldiers of the Carabinieri, in that Casanova hamlet, proceeded to inspect a sheep-goat farm, with outdoor activities, finding the aggravated theft of electricity, due to the undue use of the energy taken through a fraudulently connected cable to a meter installed in an adjacent property owned by the municipality.
The immediate investigations also made it possible to identify the illegal construction carried out within the aforementioned company through the presence of three structures built in the absence of any qualification.
Furthermore, the military of the Arma proceeded to impose an administrative fine of €7.000,00 for failure to comply with the European directive on the identification and registration of pigs, since six Vietnamese piglets were found at the company without the required health authorization.
The little pigs were entrusted to a company authorized for the recovery of animals.
In this circumstance, two buildings and a shed with a total surface area of approximately 200 mXNUMX were seized as evidence.
