Naples, they throw a chain against the windows of the ANM bus, a 15-year-old girl is injured in the eyes. It happened on the 140 line near Largo Sermoneta in Mergellina
This is what happened to the passengers of a bus of the Anm, Neapolitan Mobility Company, on line 140 near Largo Sermoneta in Mergellina. According to Marco Sansone of the regional coordination Usb Lavoro privato, a man, probably with mental problems, threw a chain against the bus, shattering some windows.
“From the first news – explains the trade unionist – it seems to have been an act by a madman, apparently without any reason. Fortunately, despite the bus being full of passengers given the rush hour, there were no injuries, only a lot of fear for both the passengers and the driver, who, after the act of vandalism, immediately stopped the vehicle and called the police, who went to the scene and reported the incident”.
Instead, the splinters hit and injured the eyes of a 15-year-old passenger. The girl was transported to Pellegrini and is now in the ophthalmology department.
Investigations underway by the Carabinieri.
According to Samson, it is the “yet another episode in which front line workers and ANM vehicles are targeted by someone can only lead us to demand greater control of the territory to guarantee safety by the competent bodies and an incentive to drive by the ANM, precisely to avoid the continuous 'flight from the steering wheel' by a category now exasperated because abandoned by institutions and the company”.
