The hunt is on for the accomplice of Ciro Puzone, the 40-year-old robber from Casoria who was arrested late yesterday morning by an off-duty carabiniere after committing a robbery in a tobacconist's.
The video released by the police and filmed by the tobacconist's internal cameras and those on the street shows both the entire robbery and Puzone's capture.
It's almost 13:XNUMX PM and we're in via Dario Fiore. On that road that connects several municipalities in the Neapolitan hinterland there's a tobacconist's and in those minutes, right there, there's also a Selected Constable of the Carabinieri. The soldier is in his car, off duty, parked in front of the business and still doesn't know what he's about to face.
Two people wearing full-face helmets arrive on a scooter and act very quickly: gun in hand, they get off the vehicle and enter the tobacconist's, it's a robbery.
It all happens before the eyes of the Carabiniere who decides to do what he signed up for. He enters the place and shouts “Carabinieri” in an attempt to scare the criminals away. The two escape from the business with the little money they managed to take and, still armed, get on the scooter to escape.
The robber shoots the policeman with a blank gun
The Carabinieri Officer chases them and runs until he reaches them, managing to grab onto the passenger's jacket. The motorcyclist loses control of the scooter until he hits a car coming from the opposite direction. The robbers fall to the ground but immediately get up. A violent fight ensues during which two gunshots are fired. The robber shoots at the soldier, fortunately the gun is blank.
The Carabiniere does not know that the gun is harmless but does not retreat and manages to block the criminal. The accomplice flees on the scooter that will be stolen days ago but the Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna are on his trail. Investigations are also underway to verify the possible involvement of the arrested person in other robberies that have occurred in the past few days in that area.

The arrested man, a 40-year-old from Casoria already known to the police, was treated and will be out for 10 days. The Carabiniere is also fine, with a 7-day prognosis for him.
