The financiers of the provincial command of Finance Guard di Caserta hanno consegnato al Comando provinciale dei vigili del fuoco di Napoli e al raggruppamento Molise dell’Ordine di Malta – Corpo Italiano di Soccorso, 81.000 litri di prodotto energetico proveniente da operazioni di servizio a contrasto dei traffici illeciti di oli minerali e prodotti petroliferi in evasione d’imposta.
The assets had been seized by the military of the Economic and Financial Police Unit in two separate operations which had allowed them to identify systematic mechanisms of smuggling and excise duty evasion.
At the end of the investigations, the Public Prosecutor's Offices of Naples and Nola, competent for the seizures, ordered, at the request of the Guardia di Finanza, the delivery of the product to the Neapolitan firefighters and to the Order of Malta for use within their institutional purposes. A significant operation, it is emphasized, in a period characterized by the increase in the price of energy products.
