Christmas time and for thieves and scammers it is the best time to take action: ready to steal anything.
Yesterday afternoon in fact two officers, one from the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station and the other from the Police Station Scampia, off duty, while walking along via Oliviero Zuccarini in the Piscinola district, noticed, near the ANM car park, a man who, after having removed the roof rack from the roof of a parked car, attempted to hastily drive away on board his vehicle.
The police stopped him and found him in possession of a T-shaped hexagonal key and the bars that had been stolen shortly before.
The man, a 37-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was reported for aggravated theft and unjustified possession of burglary tools.
