Great work by the Avellino Fire Brigade who intervened last night on the A16 Naples-Canosa.
A fire engulfed a car in transit in the Irpinia municipality of Mugnano del Cardinale.
The young driver, a 23-year-old from Mercogliano (Avellino), was rescued.

The Red Helmets subsequently intervened near the Avellino Ovest motorway toll booth due to a small fire involving a lorry that was heading from Caserta to Bari.
The driver tried to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. The intervention of the Fire Department prevented the worst.
