In Mondragone, the Carabinieri of the local station yesterday arrested a 40-year-old local man believed to be responsible for the crimes of aggravated theft in competition and escape.
According to the reconstruction by the military of the Arma, during the night between 24 and 25 January last, although under house arrest, together with other criminals, the man allegedly committed a theft to the detriment of a slot machine hall located on the SS Domiziana in that city centre.
In the man's home, the Carabinieri, following a house search, found, as proceeds of the theft, the slot machine, the related electronic explanatory card and the sum of cash of €189,00, obtained from the break-in of the aforementioned slot machine.
The arrested person was again placed under the aa.dd. at his home waiting to be judged in a very direct procedure. Investigations are underway to identify the other accomplices in the crime.
