A 57-year-old from Santa Maria Capua Vetere was arrested by the personnel of the Radiomobile section of the local Company because he was considered responsible for the possession of clandestine weapons and the illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
The military personnel of the Arma, who intervened in a commercial business managed by the man, where an argument between him and his wife had been reported, after calming things down, proceeded to search the house.
And during the checks they found and seized a Titan brand pistol with the serial number erased, hidden in a suitcase inside a wardrobe, located in a stairwell in the basement; 14 cartridges for a 7,65 caliber pistol, hidden in a pair of boots inside a metal wardrobe in the changing room.
In this circumstance, following a complaint filed by his wife, the man was also reported at liberty for mistreatment of family members and aggravated threats. The woman reported to the military that she had been the victim of physical violence and threats from her husband, suffered over the years, including through the use of a gun.
The arrested man was transferred to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
